Tree lily ‘Satisfaction’ (Lilium OT hybrid)) is certainly one of the most phenomenal varieties. This plant, growing up to 2 meters in height, was created from a combination of oriental and trumpet lilies. It produces stiff, long shoots that are densely covered with large, lanceolate, earthy green leaves. The flowers are impressive, strongly fragrant and can reach up to 25 cm in length, and the most phenomenal is their color – dark pink, strongly saturated with a yellow or orange center. It looks beautiful both against the background of other plants and in the company of other varieties of tree lilies.
The Satisfaction tree lily, like other tree lilies, is relatively undemanding and quite easy to grow. It is very resistant – both to adverse weather conditions and pathogens. Bulbs can be planted in the fall, from September to November, or in the spring, from mid-April. For better protection of the plant against fungal diseases, before planting, you can soak the onion in a fungicide intended for treating seeds and bulbs.
