An early variety whose characteristic feature is the formation of spherical fruits with dark green skin with white marbled stripes. The flesh is light, creamy white, juicy, and very delicate in taste. Young fruits can be eaten raw, e.g. in salads. Perfect for baking, stewing or pureeing.
