Mospilan 20 SP is an insecticidee in the form of a water-soluble powder, designed for plant protection by controlling sucking and chewing pests.
It works on the plant through contact, translaminar and systemic action, also protecting new growth.
Composition and Mode of Action
- Active substance: acetamiprid – 20%
- Chemical group: neonicotinoids
- Mode of action: disrupts the insect nervous system by affecting nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, leading to rapid elimination of pests
Target Pests (Spectrum of Activity)
- Potato – Colorado potato beetle (larvae and adults)
- Winter oilseed rape – pollen beetle, cabbage stem weevil, cabbage seed weevil, brassica pod midge
- Apple – aphids, pear sucker, codling moth, apple sawfly, apple gall midge, garden chafer, woolly apple aphid
- Cherry / sweet cherry – cherry fruit fly, aphids
- Pear – aphids, codling moth
- Plum – aphids, plum sawflies, plum moth
- Strawberry – vine weevils
Pre-Harvest Intervals
- Potato: 3 days
- Winter oilseed rape: 28 days
- Apple, pear, cherry, sweet cherry, plum, strawberry: 14 days
Directions for Use
Apply using field, orchard or hand sprayers.
In forestry and large areas, aerial application is also permitted.
- Potato: 0.08–0.12 kg/ha in 200–400 L of water, 1 treatment per season. Apply during egg laying and larval emergence.
- Winter oilseed rape: 0.08–0.25 kg/ha in 200–400 L water, 1 treatment. Apply according to pest monitoring.
- Apple: 0.125–0.2 kg/ha in 500–900 L water. Apply from green bud stage depending on pest.
- Cherry / sweet cherry: 0.125 kg/ha in 500–900 L water. Apply during pest presence.
- Pear: 0.125–0.2 kg/ha in 500–900 L water. Apply after aphid colonies appear or during moth flight.
- Plum: 0.125–0.2 kg/ha in 500–900 L water. Apply after flowering against aphids and sawflies.
- Strawberry: 0.3 kg/ha in 500–900 L water. Apply after harvest, spraying plants and soil.
Spraying: medium droplet size, ensuring full plant coverage.
