Unrefined oil is one that has not been made at high temperatures. This type of oil is obtained by mechanical processes such as pressing, centrifuging, and filtration. Unrefined pressed oil is commonly known as cold pressed oil. It is obtained at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. The low pressing temperature gives the oil a delicate, bright color and intense aroma.
