Bros VITROL poison for Snails 250g

Molluscocid in the form of granules – ready-to-use bait (RB), designed to fight naked and shelled snails. Thanks to a specially selected bait, it effectively attracts snails and is eagerly eaten by them.

The mechanism of action of the active substance of the agent – iron pyrophosphate, consists in reducing the secretion of mucus by snails. The agent causes an immediate inhibition of snails feeding on crops – after just one consumption of the agent, pests lose their appetite and stop damaging plants. After consuming the granules, the snails usually hide in the soil/substrate, where they die, thanks to which mucus and dead snails are not visible in the protected area. For this reason, the effects of using the agent may not be immediately visible and the effectiveness of the agent should be measured indirectly – by the smaller extent of damage caused by pests. The agent contains an active substance that decomposes into phosphate ions and iron ions that naturally occur in the soil.

The preparation can be used in the presence of pets, birds and hedgehogs.

APPLICATION:

Use the agent after noticing the first damage caused by snails. Spread the agent evenly with an applicator over the entire surface of the soil between the plants and along the edges of the beds. Do not sprinkle crops.

Maximum / recommended dose for a single use 7g/10m3. Apply the agent after the beginning of vegetation or after planting the plants and later in the vegetation period, immediately after the appearance of pests or after observing the first damage caused by pests. Maximum number of treatments in the growing season (growing cycle): 6 Intervals between treatments: at least 14 days.

Tagetes, hosta and other ornamental plants (in field, greenhouse and under cover cultivation) slugs

Apply before or after emergence, or after planting and later in the growing season, immediately after the appearance of pests or after observing the first damage caused by pests. Maximum number of treatments in the growing season (growing cycle): 6 Intervals between treatments: at least 14 days.
