‘Ailsa Craig’ is a medium-early onion variety known for producing super-large bulbs with a mild, sweet flavor. The skin is straw-yellow and relatively thin, while the flesh is tender and juicy. This variety is ideal for fresh use (in salads and sandwiches) and for freezing.
Thanks to its rapid growth, it is also excellent for producing early bunching onions.
