Czerwona Kula beetroot is the leader among the varieties grown both to supply the fresh vegetable market and for processing. Its large, spherical roots have plenty of juice, are evenly colored and rich in vitamins (especially vitamin C and a full set of B vitamins) as well as calcium, iron, potassium, phosphorus and magnesium.
The very prolific Czerwona Kula beetroot is recommended for cultivation for summer and autumn harvest. Roots collected at a later date store very well and for a long time in winter. Seeds of the offered variety are sown into loosened, fertilized soil in spring and early summer.
