Tree lily ‘Honeymoon’ (Lilium OT hybrid) this variety is a true gem among tree lilies. Extremely prolific, forming from 10 to even 50 inflorescences on one stem, which can reach up to 25 cm in diameter. After a few years, it grows up to 2 m in height and beautifully tower over other blooming perennials in the garden or create a background for them. This lily is one of the most beautiful summer flowers. They look great in a vase and smell amazing. It is a frost-resistant plant, so you do not need to dig up the bulbs before winter. They can be covered with straw or agrotextile if severe frosts are forecast.
Honeymoon tree lily should grow in sunny or semi-shaded positions. Plants once planted should not be moved, as lilies do not tolerate repotting well. They bloom best when left in one place for several years. The substrate should be fertile, rich in nutrients with good permeability. Bulbs should be planted in April or May at the latest. The faded inflorescences should be removed, leaving the stem with leaves, it is removed when it dries completely on its own. In rainless periods, lilies should be watered.
