An annual trailing or climbing plant with decorative orange-and-cream fruits featuring multicolored stripes. The fruits are shaped like a “Turk’s turban” and retain their ornamental value for over a year. The edible fruits are suitable for baking, cooking, and as an addition to soups. With its tendrils, it is ideal for covering walls, trellises, pergolas, and fences. Sow seeds directly into the ground from late April to mid-June.
